There's something fishy...

What separates Wonder Fish from your typical fish genre title is how we've defined in-game fish.

When you catch a fish, it comes in the form of a card. On this card you'll be able to see the basic information of the fish along with badge information and description. Players will be able to collect these cards into their fish almanac and also use these cards to populate their fish tanks and eventually for breeding.

We've included many types of fish, totaling more than 200 types spanning over 5 different fishing grounds to delight all types of players. Check out some more fish (and sea creatures) below:

All of the above is still in production and subject to change. If you have any suggestions, please send them to iphone@ezmobo.com

It's All in the Rod!

By now you might have guessed that Wonder Fish is a fishing game. Throughout design we threw around many different ideas on how each aspect of the game should turn out and today I'm going to share the concept behind one of our core items: the fishing rod.

Your typical starter's rod. Simple yet effective!

While it is just a tool, we didn't want our fishing rods to be out of the spotlight. We thought back to our days spent playing Dynasty Warriors and figured hey! upgradeable fishing rods! Each rod you pick up in the game can be upgraded and will affect the types of fish you can capture or the fishing grounds you can enter.

Here's another look at one of the later rods

A New Beginning

As the past 8 months has proven, freemium is currently the optimal way to make revenue in the app store. We've also been experimenting throughout this time with games such as Bubble Trouble! and Ace Run but the real main event will be our freemium game launching towards the end of the year.

Get ready for Wonder Fish!
